The Desire Framework by Zoe Collins

5-Step Guide to Claiming What You Truly Want, Clearing What’s in the Way, and Creating a New Reality

When you think about what you really want in life — more money, freedom, love, health, joy — does it feel exciting for a second, then immediately get drowned out by doubts, fears, or that snarky inner voice?

Most of us never get beyond daydreaming because our subconscious is giving: “Not safe. Not possible. Not for me.” And the maddest part is we can hardly here it beyond our surface level thinking. That’s why affirmations aren’t touching the surface and its why I created the Desire Framework. It’s a simple but powerful 5-step process to help you:

✨ Claim what you truly want
✨ Spot and clear the unique blocks in your way
✨ Use EFT to release fear at the root
✨ Step into a reality that actually matches your desire

And trust me, I didn’t dream this up from a meditation cushion. I built it because I was in the trenches trying to grow my own businesses, crying over invoices, procrastinating with endless cups of tea, wondering why it felt so bloody hard and all the while pulling together these common threads from the books, clients and my own hard won experience.

Step 1: Your Honest Desire

We start by claiming what you want. No more “someday” or “maybe.” You say it in the present tense, as if it’s already here. I want you to be honest here, not someone else’s desire and not the desire you think is achievable. Your actual honest desire.

Examples:

  • “I am fully booked with soulmate clients who love working with me.”

  • “I wake up feeling healthy, vibrant, and free in my body.”

  • “I am in a loving relationship where I feel seen and cherished.”

This isn’t fluffy affirmations. It’s you drawing a line in the sand and saying: “This is what I choose now.”

Step 2: Current Life Limitations

As soon as you write that desire, your brain will start heckling you. Maybe it’s:

  • “I don’t have the time.”

  • “I could never afford that.”

  • “I’ve tried before and failed.”

This is the part of you that’s looking at your current reality and panicking. Like when you open your banking app, sigh dramatically, and close it straight away. Real? Yes. Permanent? No.

Can’t hear that yet? What if I told you to look at your desires written down…. now imagine I said “Ok thats coming in today”. Now do you hear it?

Write those points down.

Step 3: Negative Perceptions

Then it gets even sneakier. Suddenly you’re side-eyeing people who already have what you want:

  • “People with money are greedy.”

  • “Successful women end up lonely.”

  • “Fit people are obsessive.”

Your subconscious will happily make everyone else the villain if it means you don’t risk change. It’s the equivalent of rolling your eyes at someone posting their Bali retreat pics while secretly wishing it was you.

List the people who have some of what you want. Now write your unfiltered thoughts about them. No judgement on you here, sometimes our inner voice is about 5 years old.

Step 4: Fear of What Comes With It

And finally, the big one: fear. That little voice whispering:

  • “What if I get it and lose it?”

  • “What if people judge me?”

  • “What if I can’t handle it?”

Fear convinces you it’s safer to stay stuck than to step forward. But let’s be honest staying stuck is hardly a vibe either.

Write down your fears of what will be expected of you and what could happen with these desires in tow. A funny but genuinely example once was regarding a Range Rover - when faced with that coming today - the fear of having to park the thing came up!

Step 5: EFT Tapping to Clear the Blocks

This is where we stop thinking about it and actually shift it. EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) works by calming your nervous system while you bring the fear or belief to mind.

So instead of repeating “I am abundant” while your body screams “ha no you’re not”, we tap on the belief that feels heavy. We sit with it, tap it out, and release the charge. The fear loses its grip, and suddenly your desire feels lighter, safer, more possible.

It’s like deleting the old file so your system can actually run the new one.

Try It Yourself

  1. Write your desire in present tense. Make it juicy.

  2. Notice the limitations, judgements, and fears that pop up. Write them down (don’t filter, even if it sounds ridiculous).

  3. Tap on them — even just a couple of rounds.

  4. Go back to your desire. How does it feel now?

The Truth

You can do this by yourself. But here’s the thing: when you’re swimming in your own thoughts, it’s easy to miss the sneaky blocks running in the background. That’s where I come in.

When you tap with me, I guide you through the Desire Framework. I’ll catch the stuff you gloss over, pull out the hidden fears, and hold the space while you clear them. Together, we shift what’s in the way so you can actually claim what you truly want — and start living it.

Ready to change your reality?

Honestly, life’s too short to keep shrinking your desires down to “realistic.” Let’s get you into your roots so you can create a reality that feels out of this world.

The Desire Framework: for ambitious humans, recovering perfectionists, and croc-wearing shop-runners who know they’re made for more.
