Confident Selling with EFT Tapping

Selling Without the Ick: EFT for Confidence

When I first started my digital consultancy, I thought the hardest part would be getting clients. Turns out, the hardest part was what went on inside me when I needed to promote myself, quote my services, and stand up publicly.

Every time I tried to sell, all my stuff came up: fears of rejection, worries about being “too much,” doubts about whether I was even good enough to charge. I’d procrastinate, undercharge, and feel awkward putting myself out there and it was absolutely draining.

That’s what led me to EFT. I needed something that would help me work through those old fears and limitations, not just push harder or “fake confidence.” And what I discovered is that EFT isn’t just a mindset hack or calming method. It works on your nervous system, helping you release the fear at its root so you can show up and sell in a way that feels authentic, confident, and even pleasant.

EFT Tapping to Sell With Confidence

“What if they say no?” “I don’t want to sound pushy.” “Who am I to charge that much?”

Sound familiar? First of all, GRACE. This is your nervous system trying to keep you safe. But the truth is, if you keep letting those fears run the show, you’ll never get your work out into the world the way you’re meant to.

And here’s the reframe I want you to try on: selling is service. It’s not about tricking people, forcing them, or being fake. It’s about standing in conviction, saying “here’s how I can help,” and giving people the chance to step in.

But conviction doesn’t come from just hyping yourself up. It comes from clearing the fear that’s sitting in your body - a bit deeper than you can reach with your thinking - the fear of rejection, judgement, being “too much” or “not enough.” That’s where EFT comes in.

Why EFT works for sales fears

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is like giving your nervous system a reset button. You tap on specific acupressure points while focusing on the fears or limiting beliefs that usually hijack you. This calms your stress response and literally rewires the way your brain and body process those thoughts.

So instead of spiralling into “what if they hate me?”, your body learns to feel safe saying: “My offer is valuable. The right people will connect with me. I don’t have to be perfect to help others.”

That’s the shift > from hustle and fear to ballsy energy and alignment.

Try it now

I’ve recorded a tap-along session you can use whenever those sales fears creep in. Whether you’re about to pitch, send an email, or post on Instagram - take five minutes, tap with me, and clear the noise before you show up.

Selling authentically (without the ick)

Here’s how I approach it in my own business:

  • I remind myself I’m not here to convince anyone. I’m here to invite.

  • I share stories, struggles, and why I care so much about this work — because people connect to humans, not polished sales scripts.

  • I trust timing. The right clients respond when they’re ready, not because I’ve forced them into it.

Selling stops being “icky” when it’s an extension of who you are. EFT helps you regulate so you can actually be that version of you.

Your next step

If selling feels heavy, scary, or like something you’ll “do later” — I want you to know you don’t have to keep battling it alone. EFT is one of the quickest ways I know to get to the root of those fears, calm your body, and help you show up with courage.

Book a 1:1 EFT session with me and let’s clear the blocks so you can sell with confidence, attract the right people, and actually enjoy the process.

Because here’s the truth: the world doesn’t need you to play small. The world needs you and your work — fully, unapologetically, and confidently shared.
